We believe: Faith

  1. In one God – the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
  2. That the Bible is fully inspired and contains all truth necessary to faith, salvation, and living.
  3. That all people are born with a self-centered nature that leads to destructive thinking and behavior (Sin). In short, we believe all have sinned voluntarily violating a known Law of God.
  4. That Jesus Christ gave His life for the whole human race. When we turn from our selfish and destructive thinking and behavior and turn to Christ we are made right before God. We are given a new beginning and are delivered from the power of sin.
  5. That after this new beginning believers are to be sanctified (transformed into the likeness of Christ) wholly through faith in Jesus. When we give complete control of our lives to Christ our desire is redirected toward living according to His will and we are empowered to do so. The result is an increasing Christlikeness in our lives.
  6. That the Holy Spirit gives an inner assurance that He has accomplished our new birth and our entire sanctification.
  7. That our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and final judgment will take place. Those who have believed in Christ will share eternally in His blessed presence. Those who have persisted in unbelief will be eternally separated from Him and are lost.
