Mission:
The mission of LifeStream Church of the Nazarene is to worship God and to be the channel of the Spirit of Christ to our community and the world.
Vision:
Our vision is to live out the words of Jesus in John 7:37-38:
“If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.”
Core Values:
The priorities established by LifeStream Church to achieve our mission are to:
Connect with God
Connect to others
Connect to the world
Each of these values serves to draw a disciple closer to Christ
When we worship, both corporately and individually, we are connecting with God .
When we engage in fellowship, Bible studies, and small groups we are connecting to others.
When we serve both locally and globally we are connecting to the world.
When Jesus said, “Whoever believes in me. . . streams of living water will flow from within him” He made it clear that this referred to the Holy Spirit working in and through the lives of His followers. As we connect with God through Christ and build relationships with others and our world we become channels through which the transforming LifeStream of the Holy Spirit flows. As we connect to God, others, and the world, the LifeStream flows, connecting each of us to each other and God.
